Why have a

Presentation Scan?

The final stages of pregnancy can be a nail-biting time — especially when you're unsure of baby’s position. Our Presentation Scan is designed to confirm whether your baby is head-down and ready for birth, or if they’re breech, transverse, or back-to-back. Ideal from 36 weeks onward, this scan helps reduce worry and ensures you're informed and prepared for your delivery options.

What Does a

Presentation Scan Involve?

Our highly qualified obstetric sonographer will assess how the baby is lying using a familiar ultrasound process. A special gel will be applied to your abdomen and a handheld probe gently glides over your bump to get a clear view of baby’s position, fluid levels, and placental blood flow. If the baby isn’t yet in the optimal position, don’t panic — babies can still move in the final weeks. Our team will explain everything clearly and offer guidance on what the scan shows. All scans are available from age 16. ID is required for anyone under 18.

We Cannot Recommend This Place Enough!!

We have been for 3 scans throughout our pregnancy at Instascan and we cannot recommend this place enough!!! Richard and Vicky are amazing, they always make you feel welcome, give you the best advice and always try there best at every scan to get the best photos for you!
