4D vs 8K

Discovering you’re expecting is the best feeling ever. But all the unknowns and ‘what-ifs’ during pregnancy can make for a nervous wait – and a long one when you’re impatient for cuddles!

Book an early reassurance scan and get the confirmation and comfort you need to relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

What Are The Differences Between 4D and 8K Pictures?

A healthy baby starts with a happy and healthy mum. So why wait for that all-important reassurance that everything is progressing well? The NHS typically offer two scans – at around 12 weeks and 20 weeks. A lot can happen in that time, so it makes sense to complement these with additional reassurance scans from InstaScan 4D Baby.

What Does A First scan In Pregnancy Involve?

If this is your first pregnancy, then it’s likely this will be your first ultrasound too – and expecting a baby is daunting enough without fretting about scans.

But there’s nothing to worry about. Opting for an early dating scan won’t cause you – or baby – any discomfort. A special ultrasound gel will be spread across your abdomen. We’ll then use an ultrasound probe to gently press down on your tummy for images. The whole thing usually takes less than 10 minutes and is carried out by our fully qualified obstetric sonographer, who has more than 25 years’ experience working in the NHS.

Nothing is more important to us than the safety of you and your pregnancy, which is why we don’t offer the option of listening to baby’s heartbeat before the recommended 13 weeks and 6 days. This is in line with international guidelines for safe ultrasound use.
